As shielding paint for rooms and buildings
Shielding paint for shielding high-frequency radiation (HF) and low-frequency electric fields (LF). Standard shielding paint with the best all round properties. One paint for almost all applications. TÜV-SÜD certified. High shielding, adhesion and hardness with fine pigmentation. Breathable, solvent-free, plasticizer-free and low-emission. With phenomenal physical and chemical properties, along with high ecology. Excellent adhesion on almost all substrates both interior and exterior.
Screening attenuation
At 1 GHz: Single layer 39 dB | Double layer 49 dB | Three layer 59 dB
At 40 GHz: Single layer 40 dB | Double layer 54 dB | Three layer 67 dB
Top coating
Preferably covered with plastic bonded water-based emulsion paints, dispersion silicate paints, facade paints or silicon resin paints.
Grounding
This product must be grounded! For interior use we recommend using a grounding strap plus grounding plate. For external use we recommend fiber additive AF3 plus the grounding plate. Grounding accessories available in our shop.
All grounding must be done by a licenced electrician.
Optional: Fiber additive AF3
This additive contains long, electrically conductive carbon fibers normally used on uneven surfaces eg brickwork or vertical joints (VJ) walls to assist with conductivity.
Frost resistance
This product is frost resistant (proved for 5 frost-/thaw cycles) and can be shipped throughout the year.
Ingredients
Water, natural graphite, pure acrylics dispersion, carbon black, additives, preservative (BIT, INN, MIT).

Ready for 5G
YShield continues to develop their paints and they now have an almost linear shielding attenuation for a very large frequency range. This frequency range has included both 5G frequency spectrums for quite some time: FR1 (600 MHz – 6 GHz) and FR2 (24 GHz – 40 GHz).
Safety up to 40 GHz
YShield have a professional EMC-laboratory according to various standards up to 40 GHz on site, which is operated by long-time experienced staff. You’ll receive measuring curves and reports from 40/600 MHz – 40 GHz with all their shielding products.
No nanotechnology
YShield shielding paints are developed in accordance with strict ecological criteria. For example they use the carbon black with the lowest emission possible on the market and untreated natural graphite. They consciously do not use graphene, a nanomaterial where the hazard potential is still completely unknown.
TÜV-SÜD certification
YShield shielding paints are monitored by TÜV-SÜD. The whole production process including quality control, emission behaviour and economical use of preserving agents is subject to monitoring. Please find the certificate above at the downloads.
